31/10/1985 - Verfilming In het hart van het land

De Belgische regisseur Marion Hänsel heeft In het hart van het land verfilmd tot Dust met Jane Birkin en Trevor Howard. De film won de Zilveren Leeuw voor het beste regiedebuut op het Filmfestival van Venetië en twee Joseph Plateau Awards voor Beste Belgische Cinematografie en Bijdrage aan de Belgische Film in het Buitenland.
